Our Specialties

ADHD + Autism Support

ADHD and autism support focuses on helping you understand how your brain works and reducing self-blame for struggles with focus, overwhelm, sensory input, emotional regulation, or burnout. I offer individual therapy for diagnosed, self-identifying, or questioning adults, as well as clinical assessments for ADHD and autism. Assessments are collaborative and affirming, with an emphasis on clarity, validation, and helping you make sense of your experiences rather than labeling or pathologizing you.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a gentle, non-pathologizing approach that helps you understand the different parts of yourself, such as the part that pushes through, the part that feels overwhelmed, or the part that shuts down to cope. In individual work, IFS supports self-understanding, emotional regulation, and reduced inner conflict by recognizing that these parts developed to protect you. This approach is particularly supportive for neurodivergent adults who feel torn between competing needs or emotions.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic approaches focus on the connection between the body, nervous system, and emotional experience. Many people carry stress, trauma, and overwhelm physically, even when they can’t fully put it into words. In individual therapy, somatic work helps you notice body cues, increase regulation, and feel safer in your body. This can be especially helpful for neurodivergent adults who experience sensory sensitivity, emotional intensity, or chronic tension.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process experiences that continue to show up as emotional overwhelm, reactivity, shutdown, or feeling “stuck.” In individual therapy, EMDR allows us to work with distressing memories or patterns without needing to relive or describe every detail. This approach is especially helpful for people who feel easily overwhelmed by traditional talk therapy or who notice that past experiences still impact them in the present.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT focuses on helping you live in alignment with what matters most to you, even when difficult thoughts, emotions, or sensory overwhelm are present. Rather than trying to eliminate distress, ACT helps you change your relationship to it so it has less control over your choices. In individual therapy, this approach supports clarity, flexibility, and sustainable change without relying on pressure, perfectionism, or “fixing” yourself.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps you examine the stories you’ve learned about who you are and how those stories have shaped your self-perception. Many late-diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent adults have internalized messages that they are “too much,” “lazy,” or “failing,” even when those stories don’t reflect the full truth. In individual work, narrative therapy supports rewriting these narratives with more accuracy, compassion, and agency.
